Lie Detection is a subject to have plenty of potential in any field, be it governance, sales,recruitment,business even the personal relations. Human Resources Professionals are the people who are directly connected to the employees,their issues, their concerns . HR Professionals are expected to be gregarious, good team player, and also a good leader. Lets find out few points where Lie Detection can be used.
Imagine a post is vacant and your boss tells you to fill it up ASAP. You bear all the pain from screening the CVs to the interview. The employee that you hire leaves in 6 months . How would you feel then? What if, I tell you that you could have foreseen that during the interview. You can know what a candidate feels when he/she mentions previous work ex, if he/she is honest,ethical,loyal etc. Imagine you could catch a lie spot on, just in the beginning. You can hire the best talent with a little application of this technique.
With the increased work molestation cases in office, HR professionals are the first ones to be informed and take action. If you know Lie detection, you would be open to listen to both the parties and know who is speaking the truth. Whether an employee is telling the truth if he/she says it's very urgent to go home,because someone is ill, or when someone says he/she didn't come because of bad stomach,you would know everything. After all, these all factors matters,be it appraisal or promotion.
Lie is a short word ,but for some it's very big. Generally, we connect it and weigh it according to the situation but as they say " A lie is a lie even if it's white".
