Bigg Boss Season 8 Decoded

The blog aims to decode the underlying micro expressions and body language of the Bigg Boss 8 housemates; something not visible to the common eye. It is the application of an interesting area of science to show the hidden truth. As they say, in front of the science of micro expressions, you stand mentally and emotionally naked!!

Episode 1

There are many cues but for starters , let us take instance of Arya Babbar. We saw that after the performance Arya Babbar is accompanied by Armaan Kohli.

a. The Bow

Armaan Kohli and Arya Babbar bowed too low for Salman Khan when met him, showing the level of respect.
When Salman says about Armaan, that neither Armaan enjoyed the stay nor let people enjoy , Armaan got angry, but he concealed it.The next bow was not as low as the beginning.

b.The Head Shaking Gesture

When told by Armaan " Just go with the flow", Arya says " I'm just going to enjoy myself." He says a positive sentence but he shakes his head no.If a person’s head begins to shake either in the affirmative or in the negative as he speaks, and the movement occurs simultaneously with what he says, then you can typically rely on the veracity of the statement. However, if he does the head shake after he makes the statement, the statement is most likely false. You might even notice a person verbally saying “yes,” but shaking their head “no.”

c. The Disgust

Quickly after finishing the statement " I am just gonna enjoy myself" , Arya shows Micro-expression of Disgust ,which means Enjoyment is not only thing he is looking forward too. This look clearly means the face of dislike ( You mess with me and you'll know).

d. The Concealed Anger

When Salman says to Arya about Armaan, that he didn't enjoy the stay at Bigg Boss neither did he let people enjoy, Armaan gets angry on that but he hides it. He purses his lips and clench the jaw masking it with a smile i.e concealing.

These are just little cues. Stay connected for more, because body speaks better.
